ASD Screening Profile

ASD Screening/Profile

The ASD Screening/Profile Pack is a way to quickly obtain a comprehensive personal report indicating any signs of an Autism Spectrum Disorder. You simply complete a set of quesionnaires at home and return them by post. You then receive your profile report. Your report will not be a diagnosis but it will include recommendations, which may indicate the need for a diagnostic assessment, or may conclude that there is no real cause for concern.

The cost of the ASD Screening/Profile Pack is £250.  If for any reason you decide not to go ahead, you can use the reply-paid envelope to return the questionnaires unused within seven days and you will receive a full refund!

What happens?

Step 1: Place your order

You can place your order via email; info@3ccaa.co.uk

We will ask you for your postal address and your email address together with details of the person to be assessed. You will need a credit card or PayPal account in order to make your payment of £250.

Request your ASD Screening/Profile Pack

Once you have submitted your order, we will send you a batch of questionnaires by post. Full instructions for completing the questionnaires will be included. We ask you to complete and return the questionnaires in the envelope provided. Your completed questionnaires will be assessed and a report prepared, usually within 14 days.

The fee for the Screening/Profile assessment and report is £250, which you can pay by credit/debit card or PayPal.

Step 2: Fill in the forms

A few days after placing your order, you will receive a set of forms by post. You will need to complete the forms as fully as possible. They will ask about the child or adult to be assessed, covering issues such as their behaviour, their use of language, any special interests and developmental history. Once completed, the forms should be returned to BeginningwithA in the pre-paid envelope provided.

Step 3: We prepare your report

At 3CCAA we will use your completed forms to prepare a profile report. This is not a full diagnosis, but it will indicate if there is cause for concern related to a possible Autism Spectrum Disorder. The report will also describe the conclusions drawn from each of the completed forms.

Step 4: You receive your report

We will email you as soon as your report is ready. This will normally be about two weeks after we receive your completed forms. The email will inlcude a link for you to click on in order to view or download the report.

What next?

If your report indicates that there is cause for concern, you may decide to discuss it with your GP, to seek a diagnostic assessment from your local NHS, or to arrange a private assessment with 3 CCAA  or another private practitioner.
